Where are you planning on ending up? I’m still undecided, as for now. I haven’t been as active as I used to be, but like when I got busy in college, I’ll still occasionally stop by.

I’m set up on DT and the H yphen, but haven’t done much on either yet. I need to spend time feeling my way around both - as lousy as Kinja is, it’s familiar and I don’t like change.
I’m also really hoping we end up in 1 place, not 2. Don’t care which it is, but don’t want to see Oppo divided in 2.

I’ve signed up for DT and the Hyphen but haven’t done much with them yet.
They both seem to have their plusses - I just hope everyone ends up in 1 place, and not scattered.

I’ve made an account there as well as Drive Tribe. I was going to let the dust settle and then go from there.
I know this time last year, I said I wasn’t going to join one of the lifeboats, but as it’s for real this time, I don’t want to lose oppo completely.

I’m less worried about it today than I was a couple days ago. The Hyphen’s improving every hour, and interest seems to be waning some at DT. We just need to have a clear “winner” that is the preference of 80% and the rest will follow to not “lose” the OPPO they know & love.

Yeah, I’m not as worried as I once was. Seems like there’s going to be a good working alternative. Reason I left oppo in 2013 was Kinja, it was broken and clunky; we already have better options. I know there was a s chism in 2011 when a lot of people migrated over to Google+, and I know there are people over on facebook now.
I left once, and I don’t plan on leaving again.

I agree! I think most of us are ending up at the Hyphen, but with plans to post our more ‘professional’ long-form articles there and also at DT for the exposure :)

Would be interesting to know how many are active both on Fb and Kinja. Seems kind of like two communities at this point (I’m in the group on Fb, but only take a look over there once in a blue moon).
